Through a collaborative effort between the Chambers within Wellington County, we want to reinforce this concept through the all new “Put your Money Where your Heart Is” contest. But this is not your ordinary shopping contest!

Every day during the month of March you can enter to win some great prizes from local businesses.
All you have to do is spend $25 or more in Wellington County OR submit a Google review for a Wellington County business, and then visit shopwellingtoncounty.ca/put-your-money-where-your-heart-is/ to upload a copy of your receipt and/or google review!

Super easy!
There is a limit of one entry per person per day.

Draws will be held on a weekly basis for some great local prizes!

It’s the BIG one!

Erin store’s 10^th Birthday is officially January 17^th. Due to the current health situation and in respect for the increasing hospitalizations locally and regionally, we do not feel it is the right time to have any form of in-person celebration. We hope to be able to hold a celebration in the springtime!

In the meantime, we hope you will share a memory with us via social media. We have really enjoyed making memories with you in our wonderful community over the past 10 years! We would also greatly appreciate it if you would share your experience with a Google review! (Did you know? Google reviews really help small businesses build awareness!)

Our stores are both currently open at 50% capacity. Please watch our social media for updates in case there should be any changes to capacity or operating hours.

In accordance with direction from the Province of Ontario, Brighten Up retail stores will reduce capacity to 50% effective Sunday, December 19, 2021 and until further notice. 

• Erin: 8 customers in-store
• Fergus: 24 customers in-store

We understand this is a challenging time for our team members and customers to be facing additional restrictions with the busy final days of holiday shopping.

Please keep in mind a few tips to make your visit, and everyone else's, more enjoyable!

• When you attend our stores, please remember to wear a face covering and respect others by practicing PHYSICAL DISTANCING (Maintain 2m/6-7ft of Separation from Others)
• Try to keep your party size small - we enjoy seeing you and your kids, but where possible please only have those needed come to the shop.
• Try to keep your visit brief - you can plan ahead for your visit by browsing our website.
• Take advantage of the earlier and later portions of our extended hours: 9am-8pm daily until December 23rd and 8am-4pm on December 24th
• Be prepared to wait in line for access. We will attend to you as promptly as possible, but expect that you may need to wait outside. 
• Be patient! Have fun! We are here to help!

It's time for one of my favourite posts of the year!!!!

We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our local toy drives this year at Brighten Up! We love organizing these important initiatives, and especially enjoyed the 'Pictures with Santa' held in both Erin and Fergus to support this cause.

In Erin, we collected over $3300 in gift cards and new, unwrapped toys & games for the East Wellington Community Services Toy Drive!

In Fergus, we collected over $5200 in gift cards and new, unwrapped toys & games for the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Angel Tree!

These incredible organizations provide support and resources for those in need in our communities. We are proud to support them with our Toy Drive initiatives, and throughout the year. We couldn't do it without you!

PLEASE NOTE: we can continue to accept donations for our drives, as there is a need for gifts for children in need throughout the year.
