Complete Shelving & Merchandising Upgrade Comes to Brighten Up Erin!
We are so excited to formally announce that our enhancements in the Erin store location are well underway! The past few years have been challenging for the downtown Erin business area, and we deeply appreciate the support of our loyal customers to help us - and our neighbouring businesses - to continue to do what we love - bringing you unplugged fun with our toys, games, puzzles, books and more!
Following the pandemic shutdowns, our Erin business community has been disrupted by ongoing construction related to preparing for the wastewater treatment facility. Despite this disruption, our customers continue to actively engage with our business and support us with their energy, enthusiasm and purchasing choices. We are committed to continuing to support our long-time customers while embracing the new residents who are choosing to make Erin their home.
As we approach our 13th birthday, it is evident that our store is becoming dated. Investment in updating, modernizing and enhancing our customer experience will allow us to better engage with both our current and new customers.
We are currently upgrading our store fixtures and interior design to better feature our changing product mix.
These physical upgrades and enhancements are just a part of our ongoing changes to better serve you, including:
- Lighting enhancements and upgrades, providing a positive environmental impact and a more effective customer experience
- Upgrades to our website and technology, providing a more responsive experience for you
- Upgrades to our point of sale system, to unify our in-store and digital experience
- Collaboration with our suppliers on sustainable, responsible packaging and production
- Continued investment in our local community with our time, energy and funds. We know that Erin is a great place to live and work, and will always do our part to support this through staffing, purchasing and community support decisions.
As with any major investment, it takes resources to get the job done well! This project is supported by the My Main Street program, the Canadian Urban Institute, and the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario).
